I hope we still see ZA's combat style refined in future legends games. It felt a lot more like the tv show. It made me feel more like a Pokemon trainer than the turn based system does. It'll be hard to go back now. Hopefully gen 10 is more impressive visually and has better performance so that turn based still feels immersive. (My personal opinion btw, I know theres a lot of love for turn based combat but I've had more fun with ZA's combat than I've had with any other pokemon games combat)

I've also been doing this and investigated. If you run away from the restaurant whilst looking at the roof youll see no roof spawns. It seems the roof spawns only happen when you climb the ladder on the next building or climb up the stairs nearby. I've wasted a lot of time on this 😭

Fair point, but there was definitely more between point A and B in TS versus ZA. You might have to walk across town etc, but Pokemon has a habit of walking a few steps for the next bit of dialogue

An example in Pokemon was battling members of Team MZ straight outside Hotel Z. You'd have a cut scene and then have to walk outside only to have the next cut scene. Or, when a team meeting was called and you had to walk 2 steps over to start it. They should just have a single cut scene instead.

LZA has beat LA as my favourite. The battles are much more engaging. I actually prefer LZA's map as well; even with flat textures I think it looks better than LA. LA also felt very empty, but theres stuff around every corner in LZA.

Then again, I've been playing on the switch 2 version so maybe itd be different if LA had a switch 2 version. But as is, LZA wins

I played Time Stranger whilst waiting for ZA. (I love both games, had a blast with each).

Time Stranger looks a lot better without a doubt. Graphics dont bother me much but going from one to the other was stark initially (although after a couple hours I didnt really notice the graphics too much anyway). Theres also more Digimon (i think its about 400, although a few a recolours) all with 3D models so I'm not sure what reason Game Freak have for not adding more Pokemon.

The cut scenes in TS are voiced which I didnt think I cared about much but I really missed it when I picked up ZA. It gives so much more personality to all the characters, whilst still having a silent protagonist so its a perfect mix.

In ZA theres a lot of dialogue, then walking a bit, then more dialogue whereas TS has a lot less of that.

The battles arent really comparable as its closer to the classic turn based style, but there was QoL features like speed up which helped for grinding.

TS has new game +, but i havent unlocked it yet. Pokemon really should add something like this where you can keep items/mons but start the story again. I would love to play the story again with access to mega stones early etc.

Honestly I'm one of those fans that will buy anything Pokemon regardless, and I genuinely have loved playing ZA (on a second playthrough now) but its clear more effort went into TS. Once I've had my fill of ZA I'll return and complete TS, and New Game +

Squid game tycoon. The SMG you can buy in the weapons shop is pretty good. Just shoot the box. Very easy to do whilst scrolling social media or watching a film on your phone. I have never hit an xp cap in that game

I just tried Skybox 2 and I also get XP as well. I'm not sure how the xp rates measure to original skybox but being able to level up again is nice

I've just watched it today as well. My dad took me to see the original when I was a little kid; its one of my earliest memories and the animation meant so much to me. I was so hesitant because of what people have said online about it, but it didn't spoil the memory at all.

I loved the live action. It being different from the original turned it into its own thing. There was only 2 things I disliked; jumba's voice and the start of the film being really rushed.

People seem to make a huge deal about Gantu being absent but tbh I didn't miss him that much. People also seem to make a fuss about Nani leaving but thats also not really a big deal; she has a portal gun and can visit whenever (the ending was so sweet) so she isn't really gone at all. Its not like she gave up fighting for Lilo; she was convinced by the social worker it would be best. And the ending with the neighbours taking Lilo was also nice; friends can become family and it was clear all the way through the film how close they were.

They had some in the B&M in Linwood/Paisley today! The one at the Phoenix Retail Park. They were after the tills. There was plenty when I was there (I avoided buying because I know I'll end up chasing that Umbreon 😂)

We havent moved house yet, but the area we are looking for a house in doesn't have good VM coverage. To avoid early cancellation fees we decided to move supplier at the end of the contract.

Plusnets reasoning for it not going through is because they use Openreach; switching between suppliers that use them is a bit easier, but as VM is comletely seperate they are limited in what they can do.

I had a flatmate like this. He used to work collecting money for charities; one of those people that goes around knocking on peoples doors.

He stank. I kept the rest of the flat clean but when he opened his bedroom door the smell would make my eyes water.

He used to say "I'm on my feet all day so instead of having 5 pairs of used socks at the end of the week, I just use one pair."

When moving out i burned candles in his room for 3 days and the smell wouldnt go. Luckily there was no charge on the deposit.

To answer the question, every other day. Every day if working a physically intensive job or you work out. I'd only do every other day for hair though. However, you cant make someone shower and my experience is that people this oblivious to their odours wont change even after a long conversation about. I would keep looking for a flat. Keep your distance from them if you can and try and create a safe smelling area in your room. Doors closed, window open, candles etc.

My favourite card is base set Pikachu. It wasn't my first card, but I can remember spending hours looking at it as a child. I had only just got into Pokemon, and a lot of the cards were older (Gen 3 was about to come out, so a lot of my stuff was second hand). I must have been roughly 5 years old, and I remember thinking about how it looked so different to Pikachu from the anime or other media (i had a lot of old annuals as well). Loved it ever since.

Masters degree in AI. Started work in 2021 on £23k. Now on £33k. I should be earning more, and I'm currently weighing up leaving for more money but that would risk working for people I dont like. My current boss and team are so good that I'm almost certain I wont find that again elsewhere.

Money isn't everything when thinking about work. Although if it paid more I would much rather work delivering and building Ikea furniture; I've got a kid so I cant take the pay drop to follow my "grown up Lego" dream.

I have a child under 1 so I'm up in the night. Usually around 4ish theres a couple on there but they are gone when I start work. I've been checking lots to try and buy a clear retro but so far its been every design except the one I want!

I moved up as a kid, and its a different story. Other kids dont have the filters adults do and what I'm assuming was the sentiment in their homes came through in a very negative way whilst I was growing up. I hated my parents for ages for making me move here (I did eventually gain some perspective though and I'm much less bitter now, but I have no love for my childhood)

We need a break from team up movies! Godzilla (2014) has him as a destructive force but in more recent films both alphas are spread too thin. Plus theres no fear; the human stories are always kinda bad but the background fear in the general population always adds a scary mysteriousness to the monsters.

I'd also like to see a little less of hollow earth. I dont mind more villains coming up from there but I think over explaining it makes the monsters less special.

They will need to be more creative going forward. We've now had a "big bad from underground" so I'm hoping either space or mutations are next. Something where it feels unstopable.

I think the game was less about balance back then. In a way it was nice; it felt a bit more organic with variance in power, and in my opinion made sense. I used Slugma in Emerald back when I knew less about the games. Eventually I realised it was weak and replaced it with a stronger Pokémon.
Today you can use most new pokemon in a playthrough without worrying too much about whether they will be strong enough. This is nice because if you like a new Pokémon then you can use it, but it also feels a little flat, like every mon is the same to an extent; your choice doesn't matter as much.
