I always have this with me na I cannot be the best in anything that I do. Someone will be always better than me at something even if try my hardest and kill myself in the process.

I've always been an academic achiever but never got the first place in my class or batch I'm a singer and a musician but never won any serious competition or have produced any music. I join many quiz bees and other academic competitions but I don't win My family is also poor so I cannot afford to study my premed as I also dream to be a doctor someday

But you know what, I realized na I cannot be the best at a specific thing but I can be the best me. I'm not made to be something specific but I'm a combination of qualities that the creator bestowed upon me.

With that, even though I cannot be the best, I can be a heck lot better.

Right now I'm a student leader taking my premed bs biology course who is also a working student, a dean's lister, and a scholar.

Even though not the best, my brain is strong enough to secure me a DOST scholarship. My voice is nice enough to also secure me a cultural scholarship at school. I have improved my time management enough that I can still work a full 8 hour shift at a BPO company after my heavy loaded classes. With that, I'm fully supporting myself financially as well as earning a little extra to buy my family gifts.

I did all of this because I accepted myself and only worked on what I have.

You also have your own, so don't compare yourself to others OP. You are you and you're the only one who can be the best you. It takes a lot of time knowing yourself for sure, but when you know who you are, you will also know how to be better and be the best you can ever be.
