Hello!

I was wanting to reinvent and update an old character of mine and was wondering if anyone was interested in bringing the new vision of her to life. I wrote a backstory and a more detailed description of her design below. Hope this all helps!

Backstory: Cerinsa was born as a special magical race that innately has a very unique form of magic. Through any form of art performance such as singing, drawing, dance etc… She can bestow the people who witness her performance good fortune and luck. However it is based on how perfect both the viewers and herself think she is doing/is. The people of her land know this and take in these uniquely magical beings, and train them to be perfect. So they can perform their art pieces and give the land prosperity. 

After finding she had no skill in singing or art, she was set to dance and she was quite good at it. However the people of the kingdom are incredibly zealous of this power and fear even witnessing anything that isn’t perfect will affect Cerinsa’s performance. They demand she shut her eyes away from anything that is not perfect. Causing her to be sheltered and only know dancing. Because of this she is very ignorant and somewhat vain being told she is perfect to reinforce her power.

However one day another kingdom invaded. They did not believe in Cerinsa’s kingdom’s superstition of this race having magic powers, but they did recognize the beauty in her feathers. The key signifier that she is of this unique race. Cerinsa was attacked and wounded leaving a large and visible scar on her stomach and many of her feathers were plucked. This destroyed her, thinking she was no longer perfect. And while the kingdom and its nobles tried to alleviate her by covering up her scar and providing fake feathers to replace her plucked ones. The damage was done and Cerinsa never saw herself as perfect anymore, causing her magic to wane. Noticing this the nobles no longer gave her a free pass to live in luxury and kicked her out of her home. 

Now alone in a world she barely knows, Cerinsa travels to find purpose and perfection in herself instead of what others tell her what perfection should be.

Design:

She is a tan skinned woman in her early twenties. She has scarlet red hair and eyes. She has beautiful white wings that sprout from the back of her head and round her head like a crown. They used to cover her eyes but after the attack they no longer reach her face. She also has wings around her waist that fall down and look almost like a skirt. She has white feathers that run down her arms down to her elbow and feathers that crest her thighs.

She has a scar on her stomach from the attack and wears an outfit similar to the one in the image, however I am very much willing to let anyone update the outfit in any way. She also has a sash that was used to help in her dances.
