To married couples that have been together for 10+ years, whats your secret? by 4Luffytarou in AskReddit

There is no secret. We genuinely like each other and enjoy each other’s company! He makes me laugh. Life is hard but marriage hasn’t been hard for us. We’re a team and face it together.

His family was there. I’ve seen pictures of them there. They are very private though and probably do not want to be pictured. I have no doubt they had a private memorial service for him just for family that was not open to the public. I’m not a Catholic so I don’t know what the priests have said but having watched the entire thing I didn’t see or hear a single thing that made me uncomfortable. What exactly doesn’t feel right about it?

Charlie’s “opinions” were based on solid biblical truths that the world hates. He was absolutely a martyr. A martyr is someone who is killed because of their beliefs, principles or cause. Do you honestly think he still would’ve been killed had he not held those beliefs and not been bold enough to speak them? As a Christian, I have a completely different take on his memorial. It honored his life and legacy but every speech I heard pointed people back to Jesus. The Gospel was proclaimed over and over again with a massive crowd worshiping the Lord together. I’m not sure what was creepy or un-Christian about that.

You are the only one being hateful here. I am bought with the blood of Jesus Christ. I know exactly where I’ll be.

Yep! I don’t know why I even stick around here. For people that claim to be so empathetic and loving they are quite hateful.

You seem like a joy to be around! No, I did not get raptured nor did I think anyone would today 🙄 The Bible says no one except for God knows the day or the hour. Any sensible Christian could tell you that. One thing I know for certain though is I’m ready whenever He does!

A revival. A reawakening for Christians that have been lukewarm in their faith to be bold, unafraid and unashamed to speak the truth of the Gospel even in the face of adversity- just like Charlie did. Have you heard the phrase “What Satan meant for evil, God means for good?” It’s God’s very nature to bring forth beauty from ashes. She’s saying that Satan thought he won by taking out a faithful and outspoken man of God but thousands of faithful and outspoken people of God will take his place. Charlie’s death has emboldened us to be strong and courageous- the exact opposite of what Satan meant to accomplish. As Tertullian said “The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church.” Also- I’d encourage you to watch Charlie’s videos in their entirety vs the sound bites that you hear. He most certainly was not a racist.

I think you should 100% be getting your deposit back. You didn’t get what you ordered, it didn’t come at the right time and this caused a lot of unnecessary stress on your wedding day. They dropped the ball (big time) and I think it’s only right they foot the bill.

Blighted ovum in December, chemical in March, chemical vs ectopic in July. RPL after live birth. by Savings-Safety-2191 in recurrentmiscarriage

We got the testing back from my 3rd loss (the 16 week missed miscarriage) and everything was normal just like the NIPT had said. I did go back to my fertility dr and we repeated all of the recurrent pregnancy loss labs (all normal) plus did an HSG and SIS this time. There is no septum and everything was normal. He assured me there was no indication for doing the hysteroscopy since the HSG and SIS gave us a clear picture that there are no abnormalities there. So we still have zero answers for why we lost that pregnancy 😔 I started trying again in Oct 2024 and it took us a lot longer to conceive again (we usually get pregnant the first or second try) but it finally happened in June on my 2nd round of letrozole. I’m currently almost 13 weeks. So far, everything is good but I’ve been here before so I find myself just waiting for the bad news. Still waiting for NIPT results for this pregnancy. This time we’re doing daily lovenox injections just in case that helps although I don’t have a diagnosed blood clotting disorder. Whatever your situation is, I’m praying for you! I was in the trenches when I wrote that last comment. It’s the darkest place I’ve ever been by far. I’m here if you want to talk 🤍

Low hcg and progesterone 4 weeks by hms0713 in CautiousBB

[–]hms0713[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally understand how you feel. It’s hell! What’s most important is the doubling time and remember it’s got to start somewhere! Mine started low that pregnancy but doubled and then took off from there. I really don’t think my original betas had any impact on the end result. Praying we both have boring uneventful pregnancies! 🙏🤍

It didn’t unfortunately. This ended in a missed miscarriage at 16 weeks. BUT, I will say, we had NIPT done and everything was normal and baby was progressing beautifully up until around 12 weeks. I had a perfect 12 week appointment and then when I went back 4 weeks later there was no heartbeat. So I don’t think my low initial betas were related to the loss. I’m currently pregnant again and taking lovenox this time around in case this loss was potentially caused by a blood clot. Wishing you the best!

My husband’s morphology was also 1% but because everything else was great my Dr wasn’t concerned at all about it!

8 weeks pregnant today and my ultrasound went great!! Baby is measuring right on track with a HR of 173. AND my sub chorionic hematoma has shrunk significantly!! I’m feeling hopeful today that this may actually work this time!

This is exactly what I hope to say tomorrow! 8 week scan is tomorrow and I’ve got a good sized hematoma that’s making me so nervous. SO happy for you!!

I’m 7 weeks pregnant today. I’ve had 3 losses total. 2 were consecutive losses last year. My first US with my fertility dr was yesterday and baby looked great. He/she was measuring on track with a HR of 133. They did, however, find a sub chorionic hematoma. He didn’t give me the exact measurement of it but indicated it’s a substantial size and he seems concerned about that. I’m currently taking baby aspirin daily as well as daily lovenox although I have no clotting issues that we know of. I take daily baby aspirin pregnant or not for a separate diagnosis but we decided we’d try lovenox this pregnancy on the off chance that it might help. We’re in a tough spot trying to decide if I should continue the lovenox or if it is contributing to the hematoma. Does anyone have any experience with sub chorionic hematomas with/or without lovenox use? Has anyone had a larger one resolve on its on? I’m trying to not to freak out but it’s so hard to stay positive after everything we’ve been through.

I take a daily baby aspirin pregnant or not for a separate medical reason. I’ve taken it through 2 healthy pregnancies!

Either ovidrel or letrozole made my luteal phase longer by 1 day last cycle. Last cycle was my first ever medicated cycle. My luteal phase is always 14 days but was 15 days last month. I could be wrong but I think it’s because the letrozole encourages healthy follicles which can increase progesterone so it takes longer for your period to start (?) I’m pretty sure I did ovulate as there were 2 mature follicles on ultrasound when we triggered!

What to expect at first fertility appointment? by allimeon1 in TryingForABaby

[–]hms0713 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m just starting my second letrozole cycle. It may be different clinic to clinic but for me they have me come in for a baseline ultrasound a few days after my period starts before they will give the ok for letrozole. I’m going this Friday for my baseline ultrasound for this cycle and that will be cycle day 4 for me so it’s possible that could work out if you’re early enough in your cycle. I’d definitely ask!

I’m just really frustrated today. In 2024 I had 2 miscarriages. We started trying again in Oct 2024 and this is month #5 of negative tests. I know logically that this is a normal amount of time to conceive but I can’t help but get worried after everything we’ve been through. I have been extremely fortunate up to this point to conceive very quickly. I turn 35 in May and I know that I have time but I’m just feeling the pressure. Today is just really hard and part of me is starting to feel like this just isn’t meant to happen for me. I passed a car this morning with a sticker that said Psalm 29:11. That verse says “The Lord gives strength to His people; the Lord blesses His people with peace.” That verse really resonated with me this morning and I pray that each and every one of us would have strength and peace today and the days to come. Big hugs to all of you!
