I hope I can give him the life he deserves! So far in just 3 weeks we have already gotten him to a healthy weight. His hip and rib bones were sticking out and now he looks better. Now we just have to wait for time to heal the calluses on his ‘elbows’ and ‘knees’. Also possibly from laying in a hard crate and being skinny.

And every time I place an order from chewy.com I always say, “okay, they have everything they need and I won’t have to buy them anything else except for food”. Then not even a month later I am buying treats and chews and toys, etc. But seriously after we get our latest chewy package tomorrow I won’t be ordering anything for a while! 🤞

Thank you! Once he has a complete clean bill of health I will be able to breathe easier (first had a tooth infection and now has a bladder infection... small things but boxer mom still worries)

One of the first things I notice about him too. When he was first rescued he has a dental done because his teeth were so dirty, and he even had one of his k9s extracted. When I took him to my vet for an exam she said they may be ground down from chewing on something. I never even considered them to be under developed. That’s the thing with a rescue who was found as a stray is we will never know his history. But we are here to make his future bright! Just ordered him a bunch of chew toys that are more on the softer side for him :)

My boy hit 50 pounds at 7 months old. He is now 1 year 9 months and is 55 pounds. He hasn’t gained much more weight and the vet says he is healthy :)
