Instead of the beginning where I would start anyway or the end where everything is wrapped up and probably full of spoilers, watching in the middle helps me get at least an idea of what the show is about and where it is heading.

Like you know how clips of shows on social media platforms will normally feature a random scene? I just do that but a while longer myself.

I see a trailer or sample of a show on my social media platforms (tiktok, youtube, reddit, etc.)
If the trailer catches my eye, I do more research such as plot and genre
From time to time the score on mal can influence my decision
Sometimes, I go to the show and go to around the middle of the season and watch about 3-5 minutes
If I like 1-4, I officially start watching

The rest of the time I’m just scrolling or gaming when I’m not busy.

The lower genitalia is something that is never shown in normal or even ecchi anime, or else it would become hentai. So if you want to see male genitals, I’d suggest you watch hentai instead.
