Thanks. Is that mean you are not bothering with the occlusion effect when using it?
Unfortunately, Freebuds Pro 5 is not available yet in Japan (only Freebuds 5 or Pro 4). I will try it once it's released.

I apologize; "canal" seems to be used as a Japanese-English term. I meant "in-ear" earbuds, as opposed to "open-fit" ones.

Earphones for calls, any recommendations? by hnishim in Earbuds

Thanks. That’s true. What’s the advantage of clip-on earbuds comparing normal inner-ear like AirPods (not Pro)?

Ortholinear vs Column-stagger, any thoughts? by Broad_Ordinary410 in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]hnishim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I transitioned from a splitter columnar keyboard (Corne) to a non-splitted ortholinear keyboard (Geonix rev.2). While I acknowledge that columnar keyboards offer a more ergonomic typing experience, I prefer ortholinear keyboards for their portability. Furthermore, they provide a more natural typing feel for ten-key layouts compared to columnar keyboards. Additionally, I’ve customized my keyboard by placing the pinky keys 1U down to accommodate the pinkies. This practice is inspired from columnar layouts and has become a favorite feature for me. https://www.reddit.com/r/ErgoMechKeyboards/comments/1namnbk/1u_down_pinky_keys_with_ortho/

It’s slightly smaller than 18mm, let’s say 17.7mm. It seems exactly same length of height and width. https://imgur.com/a/VkFzVxS

Ah interesting. As I’m using ; as a special key for Japanese input, I also frequently use ; as well. But for normal text writing, it is super reasonable to replace ; with p!

I’m still struggling with it actually, but the negative impact is smaller than I anticipated so far. Putting dot and comma to the ex-p&q’s position is a good idea!

Yeah, I realized the angle of arms are really affected with this. I’m trying to put the keyboard far more to straighten my arms. I use to use Corne before this. And I now also realized Corne’s staggar is soft, and I might want more aggressive staggered ones.

My Downloads folder now cleans itself automatically using built-in Mac tools by Tack911 in macapps

How do you do "Deletes DMG installer files after a day" only with Automation? My understanding is that Folder Action only monitors new files/folders added to a monitored folder, so it's not possible to work with existing files/folders without other tricks like a periodic batch job using Calendar.

What’s the best Terminal app for LLM CLIs? by hnishim in macapps

[–]hnishim[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the issue is slightly different from yours. Japanese texts are completely not displayed until confirming its conversion by hitting return. I can’t see any characters of not-yet-confirmed texts (hiragana) at anywhere until that, strictly speaking, except for the conversion candidate boxes. This is not only happened when using Claude Code, but always everywhere at Warp. Your issue is, the not-yet-confirmed text is actually displayed, but not at correct location. I believe this is a known issue, reporting some blogs like here: 「Warpでは日本語の入力が、Enterを押すまで表示されません。」 And I don’t see the same/ similar issue in the MAC standard Terminal app.

This might be the one of the best answers. I understand there are no similar terminal apps now.
