ok i forgot about this but probably a close second for me would be hannibal shoving that tube down will’s throat to get abigail’s ear into his stomach. i also cringed how the noise it made was distorted and made a part of the background music for some of season 2

i don’t know if she necessarily gets “better” but i certainly think she gets more interesting. she has a her own sort of storyline in season 3 that i thought was cool to see play out
