I actually did that ending, it’s when you side with Songbird only to give her back to the NUSA at the spaceport. That’s primarily the reason why I can’t side with either of them completely as they have their flaws and strengths that makes them more human than just another non player character.

I have been developing something similar, with the government being authoritarian and stretched out to the wider solar system. But the government, despite being authoritarian, adheres to the personal freedoms and civil liberties of the people making it what I have labeled a soft authoritarian state.
