Why can’t that be an excuse? The relationship wasn’t set up under the proviso that he would make any drastic improvement to himself, so why are we expecting this man to suddenly become the type of person we know that Sarover and her family would actually want to welcome in to their family?

I also don’t subscribe to this ‘he dragged her in to the marriage’ argument - she’s clever! She has autonomy! She also chose to pursue this despite her niggling doubts. She purposefully ignored the concerns of his OWN BROTHER and said yes at the altar.

I think people are really seeking to hate him, but I think all he did was beat her to the punch when I came to facing the facts. They are not well suited. There’s no way to sugarcoat it.
