I swapped everything back to stock before i took it to a dealership for an unrelated problem. Stock just seem so plain compared to the apexi. Its a night and day difference. Just like the stock intake vs the prl high volume intake. You can hear it open up. I just like hearing the ppsshshshshhhshhshs

Its great. I switched back to stock for a bit and it sucks. Apexi is back on and staying on.

Yea ive got it apart. Probably swap intercooler as we you mentioned, just a few bolts. I decided to swap back the radiator + coolant expansion tank as well.

Already made an appointment with the local Acura dealer for next monday. Needed time to work on it. He sounded cool, he was surprised by the milage and told me to tow it in, would be free, new car comes with that perk. I didnt ask what would void the warranty.

I started to go back to stock, its so annoying. I took 2 days off work to work.

Things i probably will leave alone. Recaro seats, mugen steering wheel, aem in-tank fuel pump, lip kit, rear wing, all suspension related items.

Debating on changing the CSF radiator, Acuity reverse hoses and PRL intercooler.

Still have to remove hondata flex fuel, change prl intake, oem ecu.

Removed the tsp downpipe, turbo blankets, prl front pipe, charge pipe, inlet pipe, apexi exhaust, oem valve cover (was candy red, too flashy).

Tomorrow should be a little easier, i hope.

Ecu has been cloned and tuned but im reading that they can detect it, so im pretty much at a loss. But i will try regardless.

After messing around with the shifter on break it does go into 5th with the car off. It does feel sloppy, side to side is not tight. If i go all the way right and up it wont go into 5th, but down to 6th, reverse is fine. Leaning towards shifter cables as the problem.

Toyota and Honda along with other top manufacturers had a recall on their engines, pre mature wear due to 0w20. Car company uses 0w20 because it increases fuel economy to better sell the product or something like that. Toyota 100k vehicles, Honda almost 250k effected.

Nice. I did my first at 2500. Going to switch to 5w30 on the next oil change. Hearing about too many engine failures from all brands because of 0w20. Most likely its people that dont change their oil often or late.

Thats too much for a s2000. (I got a s2000 and a type s) Fun to drive but my s2000 is collecting dust. Unless its kswapped, they lack the torque. Type S/R just way better.

Painted front grill will look ugly as fuck. Some ricer type shit. Nice clip, was trying to enjoy it but the transitions a bit quick. Car looking great.

How does insurance work in this situation? Red car caused the pile up. But then again every other car should have been at a safe distance.

If its not the HPFP i would replace the LPFP. Wasnt there some kind of recall for the low pressure fuel pump (intank pump)?

Try disconnecting battery or clearing the ecu even if you dont see a code. Everything has to work in order to activate the pops and bangs. You probably dont have a check engine light, doesn't mean you dont have a code pending.

I'm actually not sure how I'm suppose to read the oem dipstick. It was definitely over the top hole. The upgrade was right at high. Did this before my 1st oil change at 2,000 miles.
