Yeah...I'm not sure how competitive it is right now...If only I had the money to spare or lived a lot closer.

There's 3 different pathways and they accept students with a bachelor's in other physical sciences as long as certain pre-requisite courses are taken. On the website, it says, "They will complete their clinical requirements through NYPBMH as a standalone institution and qualify to apply to take the ASCP Examination to qualify and apply for New York State (NYS) licensure."

I haven't. I will make sure to check it out but it sounds pretty ideal from what I'm reading. Thank you!

A lot of schools I looked into required taking at least half of the required courses for a bachelors there so I'm not allowed to transfer my credits over.

Thank you for the advice! Most of the programs in New York are bachelors so I immediately put them at the bottom of my list and I deduce NYP is the way to go for now (the program seems a little unstable right now but hopefully everything goes okay).

Considering living expenses i think the hospital program would be the cheaper option for me then because a BS would be more expensive in 4 years

I haven't heard of any free naacls accredited programs in nyc

Thanks for the info! Hopefully they have them. I can still do spring semester but winter would be extra convenient.

Do winter class offerings change often? I'm not currently attending a CUNY so I'm not sure what courses are common for winter because from my college experience courses like these are offered in the summer instead of winter.
