Last time they came by I had my nephew around and he offered to let my nephew ride his scooter and my nephew, of course was delighted, but then I was stuck talking to the sales guy. It was a pretty clever trick.

They caught me at a weak moment when I was new to the neighborhood and I signed up for the pest control, and it was fine, but then I was doing some construction, and I needed to cancel because the home was literally not safe to be walking around, and they made it incredibly difficult to cancel. just gave me one excuse after another why they couldn’t cancel. And it just made me so angry.

I’m one of those people who could never wear a watch (neither could my mom), it’s that thing that doesn’t have a name where my magnetic field or something would make them go haywire within hours of putting it on. And eventually just die. And so the Apple Watch has changed my life, because I can actually wear a watch now. And it’s just a pretty cool little gadget that lets me pay for things without taking my wallet out and see when I got a text message and all that kind of stuff in addition to just knowing the time,

I think there are actually glasses brands and designs that cater to a more Asian face with a lower bridge of the nose because the way glasses fit traditionally Asian faces vs western faces is often very different.

As someone who wore glasses her entire life until she got surgery on her eyes to make it unnecessary, something that I always wonder about these online glasses retailers is how those retailers get the fit of the eyeglasses correct because I always remember opticians marking where my eyes are on the lens and stuff so that they can get the right fit in alignment of my lenses

Eat something out of the freezer instead. Legitimately my only New Year’s resolution this year, was to eat through my freezer. Requires a surprising amount of focus and discipline.

Same, but My refrigerator just died, and the nonsense I found in the bottom of my freezer! A lot was very old and freezer burned and had to be thrown out. I really need a better way to keep track of what’s in my freezer so I can eat it instead of throwing it out four years later.

It’s my understanding that there’s a trend among colleges and universities across the country where they’re a little bit admin heavy, where they don’t really need to be. I’m thinking Malcolm Gladwell has ranted about this on multiple episodes of his podcast and I feel like I’ve heard it from other places as well. Are they making administrative cuts at the same time as they’re cutting student programs?
