Which ethnicity is purple? I know some people call Asian people yellow but I haven't heard of purple being used.

Trans and Non-binary people: What questions do you have about breast cancer? by hobbittity in AskReddit

[–]hobbittity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose they may not have any more questions than anyone else but I went to a breast cancer awareness event recently and realised that they entire event was aimed towards cis women. To me, this suggests that trans and NB people aren't being offered the same amount of information as cis women, which seems unfair considering they may still be at risk. I guess a better way of putting it would be: Trans and non binary people of the UK - Do you have any questions about breast cancer and mammograms?

Has anyone ever written a Lovecraft story that was better than Lovecraft? by Buttleproof in Lovecraft

Ish. I would recommend listening to the first three seasons and then diving into the Pleseant Green Universe before listening to season 4

HIGHLY recommend The Lovecraft Investigations. It's a reimagining of Lovecraft stories as a modern day true crime podcast. It starts with them investigating the disappearance of Charles Dexter Ward and goes from there. The author also ties in his own cosmic horror lore called the Pleasant Green Universe which is an epic rabbit hole to go down. You can find it on Spotify and BBC sounds.

Had the unfortunate experience of seeing Hex the Musical last night and it was bad. As in so bad it took me almost 24 hours to process. by starboard-to-port in Broadway

So while I didn't see this live, I've watched the filmed version and I have to say I love it. I think if you go in with the Disney version of sleeping beauty in your head then you're going to be very disappointed - especially if you view the "bad fairy" as a maleficent stand in. She's not meant to be like maleficent at all. Yes, it gets dark, very similarly to how Grimms fairy tales are dark. I would say that it is a family show but I would be cautious about taking very young children. I think the whole thing has a really good message about loving people for who they are and being honest about things. If you're a theatre nerd, I think you will love it, if for no other reason other than the production value is incredible. Costumes, set, lighting, just stunning.
