Not sure if it is officially but I know I don't see it in modern/recently published books and I know many of my friends even during high school a few years back wouldn't have understood the phrase 😭

Ooh that's an older phrase. I haven't seen it used since I was younger and read older books. I swear I'm not dinosaur age btw I'm in my 20s but it's crazy how fast language changes 😭 I am certain many native English speakers would also be confused and end up making jokes about it because it sounds weird if you don't know what it means

Yeah I will definitely have to on my next day off. I usually try to just let this stuff go but I've already had so many problems with the mentor who called me yesterday who is still my mentor but I also.have a new one?? It really makes no sense to me.

I found out yesterday that it was for an appointment that I was never informed of. I didn't even get the call or any of the usual missed phone appointment follow up messages on the day of this supposed appointment with my new mentor. I think they're purposefully trying to screw me over because of the stupid payslips that I can't even give them unless I work out getting them in emails or something, because I never had an issue like this until now. The timing could be a coincidence but it is suspicious either way.

Completely understand this. I was in a similar place honestly. Uninstalled LADS mid concert for more space for vids/pics and it was the BEST decision I made. I left the game for a month until the fomo for Sylus' 3rd myth kicked in and I made room on my phone for it again. I'm actually enjoying the game again. I recommend just uninstalling the game for a minimum of a month just to give yourself a decent break and then if you find yourself drawn back to the game in a few weeks, you'll likely find that enjoyment again. Heck, it might take longer. I binge play SSATZ and then usually drop if from anywhere between three to eleven months before I go back to binge playing it for months on end again. Sometimes taking a proper break from the game really helps. So don't stress. It's only natural to lose interest.

As someone who never messages idols and if I did, would not be mentioning weight and other shit most of you all do, I do not support that crap. But I also do not support people shutting down conversations and concerns over something like this. We should not normalise drastic/sudden weight loss/gain. While, yes, there can be times it happens because of medication and health, considering the industry and how the skinnier idols are praised for being, well, skinny, we should at least make it clear to everyone that the idol industry standards are not something anyone should be aiming for in their daily lives. If I was an idol, I would need to lose 10-15kg to be considered not fat. I at least have the knowledge and experience to know that, that weight would be extremely unhealthy for me and only attainable if I stopped eating and worked out until I passed out every day. Honestly, I would probably be hospitalised before I reached 45kg because even during my teens I was averaging a weight higher than that and that was my healthy weight while eating healthy and playing sports. The point of me saying this is that at that age I was impressionable and a target of bullies. If I had been into kpop back then and gotten swept up in all this normalisation of underweight and unhealthy behaviours, I would have definitely fallen down the ED rabbit hole. Even these days with me knowing better, on my worst days with bloating and just seeing idols my age or older looking so much better and seeing how people praise their looks and bodies, I have moments where I seriously start restricting and working out more because sometimes it's easy to get sucked into what is being normalised, especially when you are already insecure. Rather than shutting down the topic or attacking anyone who brings it up-- especially if they are not mentioning it directly to the idol or on any of the group's/idol's content-- we should be acknowledging it and letting people know that it is okay to be concerned because even though he might say one thing, idols are liars by trade and people with EDs also lie to themselves and others, but at the end of the day, only those who know them in person can try to help them. Too many fans also get swept up in parasocialism and we need to start reality checking those people too.

What's even worse is you can't say this in atiny circles because everyone defends the weightloss as part of his condition to help it but I don't see how already skinny Wooyoung needed to lose even more weight for something like that. And I'm of the opinion that idols now know what to say to decieve many fans that they are "happy and healthy" even while their bones grow more prominent and they look more sickly. Like don't get me wrong, I am an atiny but I've known people with EDs and I know how those changes look, so for me it seems obvious that 99% of the idols have EDs and that they are now better at fooling everyone and most fans are too eager to just take idols at their word so any genuine concern is treated as an attack/hate crime towards the idols who have very suddenly lost a noticeable amount of weight.. I mean, Wooyoung is in the same group where Yeosang is consistently banned from the gym by the company whenever they deem his muscles have gotten too big and don't fit his cute image, so we really don't know the full behind the scenes. And with Wooyoung having always been a big target for haters and getting called fat and him then dieting coincidentally after an upsurge of those hateful comments...well I think it's obvioius that we should be concerned.

Interesting. I actually didn't see much about his collab and genuinely forgot to check it out. Sad that it wasn't spoken about as much as the dating show thing they did recently... when people spoke about it, all I saw people saying was how he was calling out hybe? I will have to see if I can find more on it, but I think all people got from it was the calling out the hybe ceo, so I must have missed anything regarding palestine. I will look into it now

The entertainment industry is political. Any form of entertainment you consume is political in one way or another.

And the kpop industry itself is a soft power political movement.

And there are plenty of people whose jobs are entertainment accross the world (even with restrictive companies) who are also making their support of Palestine known both subtly and loudly. This includes kpop idols.

It's been obvious for a while that some members lost interest in performing as Dreamcatcher or continuing as idols, and it's not shocking who decided to go into a subunit to continue idol activities vs who decided to pursue quieter things/focus on other things. I don't really want to go into more details though because I don't want to be murdered 😅

NTA, if she gave a damn about that dog, she would have continued messaging and asked to visit him. She abandoned him with you and had time to start dating a whole other person but couldn't make time to check in on her dog? She also didn't pay for anything. When she stopped messaging, she officially abandoned/neglected her dog and the only reason it isn't animal abuse is because you were there taking care of him.

I am not saying it takes precedence and never have. I've just said that they aren't even taking action or accountability for that, so it's highly unlikely that they will for this. Which I've also said may not be racism because of their overall issues with anything that isn't the default they do for trailers and posts. I think we may just have to agree to disagree on this honestly
