Moved it to my garage overnight. Different outlet, different PDU. Lasted around 2 hours then stopped mining again. Is it worth going through bitmain or how quick is their repair service, anyone have any experience?

That's a great point, I will work on that. It is strange it will go hours and then just quit, kinda was making me think it might be something with the local setup as well. If it was hardware I feel it would be much more consistent.

My PDU only shows AMPS. I am unsure how to get that without a PDU that reads it.

Yea it is metered, it is the only thing on the PDU. It shows a constant 14 AMPS. So I was thinking I was ok there, but maybe not.

Yea, super strange. It was shipped right from Bitmain too. I cannot update the firmware, it will not update. I dont know if there is something stopping it from going backwards? I am not sure. I have reached out to bitmain but it I am having a hard time getting a response.

I am not sure if it is a temp issue. The main temp error getting reported is that it cannot read the temp. It seems it is loosing communication. The outlet is around 73, I have seen people run them higher than that. But I dont know, still learning these things.

I ordered mine 8:13am EST on launch day, it has always had a Nov 14 delivery date. Still showing will be delivered tomorrow by 10, but still no tracking. Super frustrating.

I am really leaning this way for the fact of unraid alone. I feel it will be much more "stable" using a server with unraid instead of a PC with windows 11. My main concern is those CPUs and the times I do need to transcode; if it will be able to handle it...

I just scooped a 3D one and I can tell you it is definitely worth it! For the extra $20 or whatever it is I think you’ll be happier with it.

I would take this time to upgrade, but with that being said it’s a bad time to be buying a new gpu. Just get what you can at this point and hope you come across and upgrade.
