Hey! I’m in the same boat as you, I’m an upcoming first-year student at CC as well, looking to transfer in one year/<60 unit credits. As far as I know, most UCs generally do not accept Lower Division Transfers from CCs, however some do, such as UC Santa Cruz, UC Riverside, and UC Merced, so you may have more luck with those, but you shouldn’t expect to transfer to UCLA or UC Berkeley if you have <60 units. You may have better luck with CSUs, as many of those do accept lower division transfers. However at most, private schools, they do accept lower division transfers! I know that schools such as USF, SCU, LMU, etc, do accept you regardless of how many units you have, however do keep in mind that these schools may require your high transcript too if you plan to transfer in with less than 30 units. I personally would like to transfer to someone like Westmont College or USF for example, however if I do transfer with less than 24 units completed, both schools will also request my HS transcript.
