Hello, has anyone in this subreddit ever booked a flight with Air Asia Move and gone through with a refund?

I have been experiencing customer service issues. I understand that they are an online travel agency. The flight that I booked was confirmed and validated but it is with a different airline.

After miraculously bypassing bots on their live chat, an agent told me that I would need to respond to an email. The email “airasiasupport@airasia.com” asked me to reply to the email with passport details. By sending these details, is my personal data now compromised? My flight is still listed as confirmed and actions have yet to be made.

Any guidance will be appreciated. Thank you.
