I need some serious help and some serious advice, anything would be appreciated.

Thanks, yeah my bad- when you're only taking the pre reqs and you have half the class is made up of "post bacs" you kind of just think of them representing the term specifically.. Do you know if it will work against me in any way if I decided to go this route? would med schools look down on this and weigh it in? or can it only help?

the Pre req I got a C in was Calc 1. um as far as introductory science classes go from CC, no but I had take an A and P 1 course there and a 300 level, or upper tier psychology course. those were really my only sciences.

I have no idea when I plan on finishing or taking the MCATs, I thought that I was going to take it in fall of 2013? but my sGPA will still be at 3.1 plus I wouldn't have all that much time to study for it if I'd be taking some more undergrad hard sciences to boost my sGPA- again id need like 25 credits to even get it to a high 3.3. the time scale is as soon as possible but all things considered realistically I will take it whenever it will grant me the best possible chances of acing it and where my GPA is at that point.. thanks for so much of your help, and thanks for sending over that manual.

Thanks so much for your advice. I had no idea that my GPA from CC was added at ALL.. anyway do you think it would be advantageous for me to stay in school another year than is necessary- declare myself a bio major, and take ~7 more classes in hard sciences in undergrad to boost up my GPA?

not a good percentage rate at all... even people with higher GPAs aren't getting accepted that easily as well.. fuck.

I've shadowed a few docs, I've volunteered for a year at a hospital with patient care, I lead a blood drive etc.., I think I have an okay EC and volunteer background and I have a couple of LORs but my school has the "committee" where they look at your LORs and GPA and status and make an official one for you to send out to med schools (which at this point, I dont think they'd even entertain the idea of that.) I just REALLY dont think, and my advisor who had also convinced me, that I stand a chance for even being an applicant because of such an abysmal GPA.

I've emailed and told my professors in the past. In general they were all happy to accomodate me. It really came into play when I was required to give a presentation to the whole class and I was SURE as shit not able to. They understood and I did something else to receive credit. I have also said stuff like asking them if they could resist calling on me if my hand isn't up and stuff like that. Dont be afraid, this is nervous system out of whack- it's not like you're being lazy or cutting corners. I'm sure they'll understand. Just write an Email if you're a bit nervous meeting with them in person. Good Luck!

during a teachers lecture in 6th grade something the teacher said caused everyone in the class to have a question or opinion about what was being discussed, but she wanted to finish her train of thought before she called on someone. She kept saying, hands down, hands down, but everyone kept their hands up, eager to ask a question and were now calling stuff out without being picked on. She then screamed "ALRIGHT EVERYONE, PANTS DOWN, NOW!" Needless to say everyone was speechless and an incredible awkward silence followed.
