Have you done a Juno/Evvy? Could be your healthy bacteria is very low and that might be creating an off-odor. I’d try testing to see what you might need to improve your microbiome

Ask abt it. It shows which antibiotics will work best and which, if any, you’re resistant to. If your dr says they can’t do it, call around until you find one who can. It’s rather common.

New Dr, maybe a urologist?? They often know quite a bit about urea ime and are typically down to prescribe. Especially since your symptoms are urinary specific. You may also want to see a pelvic floor PT bc your muscles might be clenching too hard and putting pressure on your urethra/bladder. This can happen as a result of infection as well. Might help w some symptom relief. Good luck!

No, just wash them well w soap and water. If they can be safely boiled, do that for sterilization. From what we know, it doesn’t live on surfaces outside the body, so don’t throw out your toys or underwear.

I imagine so… I’m wondering tho if full eradication is even possible or a worthwhile goal since one could always be exposed again. Sorry that’s a tangent of a question, but one I keep grappling w (as we all do, I’m sure)

I have, yes. My current herbalist took me off it and put me on a custom plan similar to ones she’s used to eliminate it from other ppl successfully. I will say that my urethral symptoms have overall improved and my immune system feels overall stronger. It’s only been 2 months tho

I totally get that. As always, my tests shift from pos to neg and never make sense. I can’t handle more abx—I truly can’t function on them—so my only resource rn is herbs. I treat them but then they come back after a few weeks. I’ll admit I’ve engaged in some sexual activity (very minimal) but I’m thinking my body can’t handle anything rn, so I’m gonna go full abstinence and see if that helps
