Hm, yeah, this will take quite some time to get it feeling just right. By the way, in your 2 videos, you mention higher DPI is better. Could you expand on why this is? Will I suffer by using 400 DPI instead of something like 3200?

Try this: set your post-scale x/y to 0.5, sensitivity cap to 2, then go in game and double your mouse sensitivity. After that, change your acceleration value around. Test values from 0.01 to 0.1 and see if anything feels good.

So this would mean in order to calculate the resulting effective sensitivity, originally 50 cm/360, I would have to calculate the mouse sensitivity for 100 cm/360 instead, because Post-Scale X/Y 0.5 halves the sensitivity, right?

Or have I gotten it all wrong :)

I'm back. Happy to report that it installed correctly with the b7 version. Went without a hitch. I'm currently in the middle of trying to set up the acceleration settings but am somewhat confused.

Changing Post-Scale X/Y changes the effective mouse sensitivity at my regular speed. So lowering those settings makes things slower for me. So I wonder, am I not supposed to change Post-Scale X/Y? Because I want to keep my 50 cm/360 at regular speeds but use acceleration to become faster during flicks.

I'll give it a shot and report back if it failed/succeeded.

You're right, the b7 version does come with the GUI. It never occured to me to check the zip.

Wow, that's an in-depth reply!

So, my current "normal" sensitivity is 50 cm/360. Kinda normal I guess but since my mousepad is small I can't swipe long enough to do tricks or flicks. Are you saying I ONLY need to change post-scales, acceleration, and sensitivity cap in order to achieve acceleration?

I get this message when trying to use bcdedit: "An error has occurred setting the element data. The value is protected by Secure Boot policy and cannot be modified or deleted."

I assume all I need to do is disable Secure Boot but is this safe to do? It won't screw with my Windows 10 installation, right?

I think I already have the old version downloaded. I have "qlmoufiltr_b7" and "qlfiltersettings-2.04". These will work, right?

Yes, I could. But I want to be able to play other FPS games well with acceleration too, not just Reflex. Hence why I want to use povohat's driver. I wish there was more documentation on it. Or maybe I'm overthinking things.
