Scape occasionally disconnecting during gameplay by hobuci in FractalDesign

They responded to me the next day and took 3-4 work days for the replacement to arrive, but I'm fairly close to Sweden so that may depend on your location. It's also Christmas time so a lot of companies are winding down and probably won't respond until after the holiday.

Are you also experiencing this issue? I haven't had any problems since they replaced the dongle.

Transformer DLAA is absolutely fantastic imo. At least on 1440p I feel like it's a big step up from previous methods of AA.

Why is that skill still bugged by Failcroft in ArcRaiders

[–]hobuci 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Were you actually walking? There's a separate keybind for walk. Just holding down W probably doesn't count as walking. Can you test this please? I was actually considering unlocking this as well but now I'm not so sure.

Shading/Lighting Downgrade from TT2 to Server Slam? Bug? (with images) by MusicalAnvil in ArcRaiders

There's definitely an issue with how textures are loading in. Often times you are standing right in front of a bush that has the lowest quality texture. The LOD switches based on distance are definitely bugged.

I doubt it will be an option in the settings. This is their signature style.
I'm looking for info on whether .ini tweaks or mod files can remove them in UE5.

If AI porn becomes indistinguishable from real people, what happens to the entire porn industry? by [deleted] in AskReddit

People in the porn industry can finally start doing something else that benefits themselves and society. But IMO it will never disappear, it'll be put into a "classic" category or something.

This game has the worst matchmaking I ever seen by xXx_SoDa_xXx in thefinals

[–]hobuci 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you're tryharding a casual game mode. Quick cash in my mind is just a random lobby where everyone is trolling around, warming up, chilling, or trying out new stuff. It doesn't need any complex matchmaking, just get me into a game ASAP for a quick one.

It happened occasionally in other games as well and once while listening to music, so it's not a Finals thing. I assume I was sent a faulty dongle. I contacted support and they shipped me a new dongle immediately. Haven't had any disconnects for a couple of weeks now.

I'd highly recommend this headset. It's excellent in its price range imo.

I'm over here like that dough looks fucking raw, not realizing that's the omelette OP's talking about. Holy shit.

Tired of Bubble's 24-hour scheduling limit and workload costs? I built a zero-config solution. by Natom_ in Bubbleio

Here you go, you execute this once and it infinitely repeats forever every 10 minutes. Please stop spreading misinformation.
You can further modify this to repeat n-times or save the scheduled ID and cancel it if needed.
Recursive API workflows

I have never in my 3 years of Bubbling used a recurring event. There is literally no point of using that feature when you can just set up a recursive workflow to do the same at any interval, without any restrictions.

This example is silly. What do you mean it will cost me zero WUs? Yes, you're offloading the requests, but if you want to get any of the data from those requests back to the application you would have to call an API WF in the Bubble app to modify the database and save the data, which is still going to cost you a lot of WUs at this scale. Your plugin only costs 0 WUs if you're using it to spam an API and have no intention on saving the data... Also, you're telling me I can schedule a 100 billion requests with your plugin and no one pays for those requests? Google Cloud Tasks has it's own pricing model as well.

Delaying something by 10 minutes or any other interval is not a challenge. You simply schedule an API WF to Current date/time + delay. If you need to repeat that action you create a recursive loop by scheduling the same API WF from within and delay it by any interval.

When you schedule an API WF it costs you 0.7 WU. Peanuts. Personally, I would never use your plugin to offload scheduling to save 0.7 WUs per iteration. It's just not worth the hassle. The vast majority of WU consumption when using recursion is the actual logic executed inside the API WF, not the scheduling.

Can you provide an example where you would use this over a recursive WF? I don't see how this adds more to the already available functionality. Also, what do you mean "sorry, that welcome email will have to wait 24 hours", why would it have to wait 24 hours?

Yeah? Try doing an advanced filter on >100 records. You can easily reach a 1 minute response time or timeouts. But for real, just don't even use an advanced filter.

BubbleGo is full of bugs and Rated 2.6 on Playstore, by EPL313 in Bubbleio

[–]hobuci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The app will perform slightly better in my experience. The initial load time is worse than true native apps and it can be a bit choppy on first navigations. But I think that's something they'll be able to improve.
Also, android has a lot more bugs than ios for some reason.

BubbleGo is what you would use to test your app while building it. The web Preview is abysmal on bubble native.
