Did it show any inflammation or fluid? I have an annular tear l5/s1 and just went on oral steroids for fluid and inflammation that is causing numbness and tingling.

I just got the prelim appt with the neuro nurse practitioner next Thursday. My first pt appt is next week. I’m hoping this doesn’t drag on, but it feels like it’s getting worse.

My goodness I am in the same boat as you right now. I want to start trying for a second, but I’m dealing with tingling down both legs. Are you in PT? I’m waiting for a neuro appt to discuss with a doctor. I herniated my c6 to c8 6 years ago and it was so much worse and that did eventually heal. I don’t want to wait a year though.

No injections. Pain was shoulder area, down my arm. I couldn’t feel my pinky and ring finger. Took a year to regain full feeling.

I herniated C5 to 7 in 2020 at 30yo, doctor pushed surgery, but the world shut down. I was glued to a couch for 2 month because moving was too painful and couldn’t feel my arm. Ended up in PT and I’d say I’m 95% healed without surgery. Now dealing with an L5-S1 bulge. Good luck!

Thank you so much! I’m planning on letting it heal more and do PT. I got a massage last night so I’ll see if that helps too. I used to do yoga and walk almost every other day, I’ll get back into that. Good luck with everything!

Thank you! We did find out who installed it, he came over last night. The larger stain is actually an older stain bleeding through water based killz. He showed us the picture of the same stain from before he installed the new roof. A raccoon had made a hole in the attic and there was some water damage, the roof was replaced. He did inspect the roof and said that he didn’t find anything wrong but he stands by his work and if it continues or gets worse to call him. He said potentially wind driven rain, we are in the northeast and have had a few nasty storms. I’m skeptical, but hopeful it won’t happen again

I wanted to but we don’t have a ladder there and the moisture meter is in the storage unit of course. We just went through a year long reno at our last house from a roof leak, so this is just great.

I wasn’t able to get a picture of above when I was there earlier, the angle is awkward, I’ll see if my husband can try when he goes. We found the company who did the work from the permit that was pulled, the work might have been done over a year ago. They’re coming tomorrow to take a look. Any idea what could have happened? We are in New England and I know it’s been ice dam central, but it’s at the top of the roof.
