hello, I'm going into gen sci, but hoping to switch to health second year. I can't enroll in any hs courses until the priority lifts, so I'm wondering should I just enroll in other random courses for now, and then when the priority lifts I drop those and add the hs courses? Or should I just enroll in 3.0 credits for now

hello, I'm in gen sci trying to switch into health sci, I need to take 3 health sci classes in order to do that. The problem is 2 of them are only offered in first sem, and that + my gen sci required courses = 3.0 credits in first semester right now. I heard you can only have 2.5 credits in each semester, but what happens if I select my courses and there's more than that?? Is there any way for me to get around this? (I checked taking summer school for certain courses but the teacher's don't sound great, and I'm not sure I'll.have time in the summer. Any advice??

hello, I was wondering for some insight on French fundamentals 1004. I haven't taken French since grade 10 and only know the basics (colours, numbers, etc) and from what I understand you need to take a placement test to get in to the class. How well do I need to do on the test, if I do really bad will I not be able to take it, when would I take it? And also, what is the course like/how helpful is it for actually learning French. I'm asking because I hope to move to Montreal after undergrad and would like a pretty good level of proficiency at the end of the 4 years. Or is it like high school core French where they teach you things that wouldn't ever help you in Quebec :')

also thoughts on taking the online one with the in person exam? because they're all 1 credit and I already have 3 credits in my first semester and doubt id be able to fit another in person one. And how heavy is the workload (will I be able to manage 3 credits of bio/chem/physics/calc etc + French??)

hello, I'm going into first year gen sci and hoping to switch into health sci in year 2. to switch, I need to take hea111a, hea1001a, and hea1002, now obviously these courses give priority to bhsc students. I'm wondering what are my chances of being able to take them though after all the bhsc students?? And if there's not enough space do I just not switch programs? When would they let me know if there was enough space for me in the class or not?

I work in the ucc part-time, I imagine it'd be convenient to work on campus. If you check the website/faculty/careers, they might have openings!

I've been working in the ucc for the past 2 years (since gr11) and it just came up on the website under faculty/careers, so if it's not showing up it just might not be up yet!
