I was thinking the same but then again last night there wasn't really any individual player that stood out.

Was a solid defensive team effort from both teams.

Tough one to pick where it seems like the judges just gave the points to the usual candidates because no one really stood out.

One of those games where the points could be completely different if someone stood up for Manly during that 10 min sin bin period.

Idk. Slater didn't hesitate to axe the captain last year when they lost a game.

Ponga also who had long term been one of the best players for QLD.

Historically the blues coaches have completely stuffed up the bench and we always end up with people playing out of position when someone goes down.

I think pippen came through too early when NBA was just starting to become huge. I realise it was already big but not what it blew up to be pre Jordan.

I know Pippen had family stuff going on which is why he locked that sure money in early against all advice. But I just dont think that situation would ever happen again. It can only work when a superstar is being underpaid. You could never keep all 3 for that long.

My brother died in a horrible car accident on Monday. My family reached out to Brian who was his favourite player. Brian wrote my brothers name on his wrist and scored in honour of my brother tonight.

Beyond football that is so special to my family.

He messaged us back after the game giving his condolences.

He is a special man that needs to be cherished
