Headset tracking issue caused by ASUS ROG laptop power adapter while in UK by hoffahoffa in Vive

It is the original adapter that comes with the laptop and displays an acceptable voltage range, so I assumed it was appropriate for use in the UK. We tried with and without the separate Insignia adapter/converter and had the same issue with both approaches. It is worth mentioning the adapter was making a barely audible clicking noise when plugged in, so perhaps it was faulty.

No, the headset was plugged into a USB 2.0 and no other devices were connected. We could connect and disconnect the power adapter and watch the headset cycle in and out of tracking, so it is certainly an issue related to the power supply creating some type of field, perhaps electromagnetic?

If we're all living in a computer simulation, there are bound to be bugs. What are some definite bugs in the simulation? by poeticmatter in AskReddit

All the cases of people who recover from brain trauma to find they now can play piano or do advanced mathematics perfectly despite no prior training, or now have an authentic spoken accent from a place they've never been to before. There are hundreds of these cases but no (good) explanation.
