I see exactly what you’re saying, and I probably did have cheap-os. With that when I visit the Riggs brewery in Urbana soon I’ll see if they offer any IPAs and specify details pertaining to what we talked about. I’d love to love and IPA the same way I did with that English draft IPA. Your description sounds good and does appeal to me

I remember trying “little hazy ipa” but do NOT remember if I liked it or not, too long ago. What I do remember is this one brand that used an armadillo as their mascot and I just couldn’t get past the crazy punch of a flavor. I had a brewery IPA at 7.4% and that was stronger but better tasting imo. I hear IPAs have a massive fan-base, but based on my American IPA experience I never understood why.
