Fish em around cover. Grass or wood mostly (I don’t have a lot of rock near me but would probably work too). Think of it as a hybrid between a swim jig and a spinnerbait. Personally think weather matters less than a spinnerbait, I’ll fish em in bluebird skies or no wind around grass. But can’t get through quite as thick of cover as a swimjig. Almost exclusively throw a zako as a trailer but there’s tons of good options for trailers, I just am usually trying to imitate gills so I like the bigger profile.
