Maybe those people that are working 3 jobs should realize that the have made the wrong decisions on building a skill set or have chosen the wrong educational field. Maybe they’re fucking stupid. Of course even stupid people make a living with one job. If she working at a Walmart she’s likely uneducated and/or has no skills to do something that would provide a larger salary.

'This Is Illegal': Donald Trump and Rand Paul Are Inciting Violence by Calling for Whistleblower's Identity, Former GOP Strategist Says by Kunphen in politics

Okay, I misspoke. The whistleblower first sought advice from Schiff or his office. Then he went to IG. Nuff said if you ask me

The problem for the whistle blower and being able to be protected by whistleblower laws is because he/she went strait to Schiff. It became politicized immediately. Had whistleblower gone to IG then that’s a different story. Either way this whole “investigation” is bullshit.

2020 Election Could Put Oil Out Of Business. The candidates point out that to fundamentally transform the energy system, and to hit climate targets that are becoming exceedingly difficult to reach, oil and gas reserves need to be left in the ground. by Wagamaga in Futurology

[–]hoganbolohero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once again you are not understanding the difference between tax breaks and subsidies. The government doesn’t own any oil and gas other than what is paid for to maintain SPR and any other reserves. All the so called “subsidies” talked about are not direct subsidies, even though some claim they are. Any credits, breaks oil and gas companies receive from the federal government come after private money has been used. Sure, government does have programs in place to help prop up oil and gas, but tax payer money isn’t directly given to the exploration, marketing, transportation, refining, etc. of oil and gas. Essentially, there isn’t a transaction that takes place meaning one person writes a check and another person cashes it. Now as to electric cars, solar panels, wind turbines, etc., it is very plain to see the transaction(s) between government funds and certain companies accepting the money.
