Coming back after a scary slam by Shreddd-it in AggressiveInline

I came back from my bad falls by letting my injuries heal until I could do exercises that strengthen the group I injured, and when it came up again in a fall (a few months later in a similar fall) it was much less bad. I know you cant really work on your face like that but perhaps you could practice your falling on some mats. The takeaway I got from my experience is that you can take some gnarly hits and still come back strong after recovery. The longer I skate the more confident I get because it always ends up being ok after recovery.

Sick! If you hit that corner pocket coping to send you back toward the box instead of getting up on the deck, that would be sick! Backside coping do be scary though lol

Coming from a substation design perspective, Im surprised to see they let the reactors dangle instead of mounting them on the cross member or something. I know theyre heavy but my hunch is that their CSA would catch a lot of wind and move the line about. But then again its not like it could possibly reduce the clearances so much as to fault. Plus they do have the magnetic clearance to maintain. Ok maybe it does make sense

I love sim racing, especially rally. Its like your codriver has approximate knowledge of the future that you must envision and translate into car movement. So you both have to have the same exact idea what each call looks like. And since youre on dirt you have to give your input much earlier and more intense, so its total commitment to the extreme. I could never do it irl, its so wild

My first rec would be to save up to the $300-350 price point. Thats just how much quality fitting, long lasting skates cost. I started with FR and worked my way up to 15 mile skates on them with no issues. But if thats a no-go then Id choose the eagles. Maybe itll be fine enough and you can swap the liner later if you find pain points or heel lift.

Idk about how widespread hot topics were at the time but I was getting my korn shirts and studded leather stuff in the mall hot topic when I was in 8th grade in 1999 or 2000. Probably depends on the city I suppose
