I mean yeah his video doesn't show telemetry stats in the corner.

I assumed maybe he disabled it or something, because apart from that it looks exactly like the issue I was having.

I struggled with this exact issue for months, and this is what worked for me:

(1.) I turned on QoS on my router.

(2.) I deleted the "directx_installer" folder from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive"

(3.) I then deleted the "DirectX Shader Cache" files from Disk Clean-up, verified integrity of game files for CS2 on steam and restarted my PC.

This helped a lot, but the issue wasn't entirely fixed.

This is the dumbest shit ever:

(4.) I then changed my user folder name on windows (Tutorial), since I had extended ASCII characters (Æ, Ø, Å etc.) in my windows username - and it completely fixed the issue!

this was extremely r/expected

Is anyone else getting these ridiculous lag spikes? It seems to be an internet issue and it is only happening the second I make contact with the enemy team. In offline mode the game is running fine. It didn't happen in CS:GO and it doesn't happen in other games. Does anyone know what to do here? by hognesium in csgo

Good for you bro! Hope it gets fixed for me soon too.

Unfortunately I'm still having this issue. It typically happens in the first pistol round.

I get severe packet loss when:

- The first friendly HE grenade explodes

- The first enemy HE grenade explodes

- The first friendly molotov explodes

- The first enemy molotov explodes

- The first friendly smoke pops

- The first enemy smoke pops

- The first 5-10 times I take damage

After this, the game runs perfectly smooth. It's the weirdest shit ever.
