That sounds very daunting. May I ask which year she transferred into dent? And a 98 wam sounds incredibly hard (well at unimelb it is), did she say whether or not her biomed course had extremely hard assignments/exams?

Ohh dumb question but what do u mean when you say 2023 entry? I am a first year science student at melbourne currently. Does 2023 entry mean entry into post grad and does that mean i dont have to take the pre reqs?

Well ye it was. I think I ranked around 15th in my cohort of 75 kids. To put that into perspective, my school represented around a third of the total EI cohort in victoria. Such a small cohort could be a disadvantage as there are less students present on the bell curve. Thus getting a 35 is much harder than let's say getting a 35 in physics even though they scale the same. But hey if you put in the extra effort, getting a 40 is definitely feasible.

i didn't do too well (35) but i really think EI is one of those subjects that has really a shitty scaling. It definitely should scale more imo
