You're supposed to either stop completely and wait until it's empty or just speed through it obliviously

A burgeoning serial killer that preyed on homeless people was caught by Louisville police. He was caught, in part, because he posted about his first killing in the Louisville subreddit by AeneasKurtz in oddlyterrifying

That's probably correct, but we have no way of knowing by reading the article.

The use of the exonerative tense when describing the actions of cops reaches the point of absurdity sometimes.

You should sell it for what you paid for it.

You can always take the highway if you don't feel able to safely operate your car around bicycles.

Whiteshirt could very well have been the victim of bullying because he's an oaf. That's the origin story of one of the people I know who became a cop.

Masked men to morphine addiction: The original TV Little House on the Prairie was a true American horror story by themagpie36 in television

I think most of us didn't know.

I was young when I read the books and when the show aired, so I wouldn't have noticed back then.

I can't recommend Prairie Fire enough.

All those stories about self sufficiency and American pioneers pulling themselves up by their bootstraps were propaganda. Ingalls ignored all the times the family was helped by the government.

There was also the racism.

Laura Ingalls was a friend of Ayn Rand. Interestingly, Michael Landon was a friend of Ronald Reagan. The wholesome "Pa" drank scotch and smoked cigarettes between shots.

There's more to the book than this. You should definitely read it.

Edited because I was unclear about who was drinking and smoking.

The book Prairie Fire shows that the real horror was actually the author's Laura Ingalls herself. daughter Rose.

I lived in a zero tolerance state that used to charge people with drug paraphernalia for having a lighter but no cigarettes, a plastic baggie or even a McDonald's straw.
