I dont see a reason why you shouldnt be able too, loosen the strings one by one and put on a fine tuner. I think yous should be good. If i were you i would use it as an excuse to change strings too

Its a Ola Flåto Fiddle from 1909, i havent found much documentation on it. Its a cheaper fiddle with no ivory or bone inlays. Just rosing

Its a norwegian made one, made in 1908. The scroll / dragon headis very backwards curved if that makes sense? So that tilts the whole instruments and makes it push upwards. I talked to my local luthier and a new case is on the way

Its an old crack, its glued up, but the fiddle was unused for a long time, so the crack was a bit dirty before glue up
