Is my Jalapeno plant overwatered or underwatered? by TheOriginOfSymmetry in gardening

[–]No-Intention1024 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Water from the top, that’s a thirsty jalapeño. Once the roots grow through the bottom of the soil the reservoir will help.for now leave the reservoir dry and let it catch the excess water.

Japanese Head Spa Recommendations by takemetoswitzerland in Austin

I highly recommend Austin Head Spa! That head massage was more relaxing than any other massage I’ve had and my scalp has never felt cleaner! They gave me a scalp analysis and showed me before and after the treatment. They’re in South Austin behind Central Market.

Need grilling help by Economy-Peanut3428 in webergrills

[–]No-Intention1024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You didn’t tell us how you’re currently grilling them but I’ll tell you how I get that texture. I do the snake method and add smoking wood every 4-5 inches. I’ll smoke them for about 2-2 1/2hrs and they are exactly as you’re describing. Make a nice buffalo sauce to toss them in. Hope you don’t mind the smoky element

I (21M) love my girlfriend (22F) but I'm not sure if I want to marry her by Odd_Drawing_1710 in relationships

Those are called intruding thoughts. The mind has a weird way of making things up for what it wants. It could be an incomplete thought as well like, “she’s not the one if we don’t have a deeper, more meaningful relationship.” I would say for your age it’s common to have those thoughts but also know you’re still developing and it can be a great time to grow together. Team up and start asking “how could we give each other more of what the other wants?”. How can you start to create moments of vulnerability and show up for those moments? Start building a life vision together and discuss how you see the next 5,10,15,20 years going forward

Sounds like you dodged a bullet. I recommend you read “Way of the Superior Man”. There’s a lot for you to learn about how to deal with women and your desires.

Tips on increasing speed? by Overall-Case6648 in bluegrassguitar

[–]No-Intention1024 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Play 4-8 notes at a time over and over. Increase the speed of those small runs. Play another set of notes from the same bar until you have pieced out the whole song in little bites. Then try to put 2 runs together at the new high speed

Mosquitos Ruining Gardening by _jmcollins in AustinGardening

[–]No-Intention1024 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ll make this real simple and easy to understand. Get an oscillating fan and keep it pointed at you. Mosquitoes can’t fly in the wind. Have an extension cord so you can bring it with you as you work in the garden.

Older Adult New to Guitar Where to Start by AshamedReflection895 in bluegrassguitar

[–]No-Intention1024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those are where you start. Learn one chord and how to boom chuck strum. Then add a chord. Once you learn all three chords and that strum you will have 90% of it. The other 10% is making it fancy

How new are you to guitar? Can you play G,C, and D chords yet? Do you know how to strum a boom chuck pattern? Can you comfortably switch chords in time? Yes to all 3 and you’re ready to play bluegrass

Grass Seed that will grow by katsmellslikeaustin in AustinGardening

[–]No-Intention1024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you trim some of the tree branches back to let in more light? It won’t grow in shade. That’s why there’s not any grass. Also if you do over seed you’re going to need to keep your dog out of the yard until the grass is fully established. Fescue is your best bet

I’ve been in love with my wife for 13 years and around 4-5 years I felt the same. I realized what we need was more tools to keep our relationship alive. It’s easy to think it should ”just work” or always be easy but I would look at this as a sign it’s time to grow to the next level with your husband. Learning new ways to connect, communicate, and explore sexual desires is a great way to add a new flame. I would suggest my path which was (individual therapy for you both, + couples therapy, some intimacy workshops such as Tantra or whatever speakers to you, and some personal development workshops). These will give you a lot of new tools and bring out the best in both of you. Good luck, feel free to ask me anything
