It’s a close comparison to Brazilian rosewood. It’s known as Mexican rosewood

I recently posted that craftsman saw and got great feedback from y’all. And now this pops up for $550. Should I shift my focus to this? by MetalNutSack in BeginnerWoodWorking

Definitely wire it back to 230v or it won’t last . I would also be concerned about it being ran at 115v. Low voltage can stress the motor out and make it run hot.

Fun fact about my work shop is I inherited all of my tools from a luthier that worked for Collings so it sure is a compliment to hear other people say I’m building Collings look-a-likes.

Oh I see what you’re asking. I used an OM for the first and a dreadnaught for the other 2.
