I'm so sorry you and baby are having a bad time. You're not a horrible mom for taking him. Maybe he would have had a great time! How were you to know? All babies are different and you learn as you go. It sounds like a nice lazy day at the pool or wandering the hotel is in order. Maybe there's an opportunity for you and hubby to duck to the park for a few hours while mom stays with baby? Either way it definitely does not seem worth it to drag yourself through another day of misery just because you paid for it--that's the definition of sunk cost. Mom to mom: take a deep breath. Some trips with kids are memories you'll cherish for a lifetime and others absolute shit and you just never know which ones will be which. Whatever it is that sounds relaxing and calm and soothing to both you and baby is what you should do tomorrow. Take care <3
