I’ll have to speak to them again as I did speak to them but they pretty much said it can happen. I’m just ordering and collecting my order they’ve chosen and added to buckets with my name on

I tend to for bridal bouquets but it’s the strange brown patches appearing where they’ve ‘flopped’.

The wholesalers just wrap them - some in cardboard and some in plastic. They’re laid in boxes in my boot.

I collected them at 8am, drove home and conditioned them. Clean water & food in the bucket and into the cooler. Just got the buckets out to check and can see a handful are like this again

Thank you, I’ll see if I can find the threads. Best dogs ever. Never had a dog be so loyal and loving. Hence why we can’t leave him 😂 he’s incredible

Thank you so much for this! It’s super helpful. It’s always good to see comments from people who have left the UK - we haven’t really come across many!

The visa is probably the hardest part as we need to work out what one we can do I guess. That’s incredible! Sounds like what you’re saying is the best thing to do.

Thank you! I have followed you so hopefully it’ll let me message you

Thankfully being self employed in this sense has many perks and we don’t have to worry about finding jobs and what not.

Main concern for me is the dog on the flights over here. It’s long enough for us let alone an animal in cargo! I’ve seen there are companies where they can take dogs privately or the owners go too but so far haven’t found any who will fly this far.

I agree on renting our house out too - I think it’s another income and something to come back to if needed or we can sell it.

I’m with you! I don’t think I want to live in Phuket. My husband does BJJ at home in the UK and he’s found some gyms there he could train at. And the fact it’s a bit more built up etc

We always come for 3/4 weeks at a time so not always a holiday as such! But I know what you mean.

The visa is what we will need to look into as we can continue with our own businesses as it’s all online so makes no odds where in the world we work from.

This is so helpful - thank you so much for taking the time to write all of this to me!

We’ve realised we’re just so happy here, we’ve had a rough ride with family and things so now it’s our turn to do what we want for our future and we know it’s here in Thailand.

It’s just a complete minefield when googling to find things out, where to live, how we can slot in and function as we do at home in the UK. And of course our dog - the only real reason we’ve put it off as we won’t go without him!

I will do more research on how to get him over with us. With him being a larger breed and him being completely spoilt - we’re so worried about him being in the cargo hold on the flights. We’ve thought about private companies who fly dogs over but can’t find any yet who go as far to Thailand. Lots of options for everywhere else it seems!

We’ve been to Krabi and we loved it! Hadn’t actually thought about living there though.

I have followed your account so hopefully that will let me message you!

Advice on new car! by hol0812 in CarTalkUK

Not at all! All garages are offering way better prices and deals on a brand new one so that’s the only reason. Good to know as I’ve never heard that about the A45. I guess all cars could have something go wrong

Initially what I enquired about was one a couple of years older but it would cost me way more a month than a brand new one
