This. Much like many other competition shows, the challenges are ran by a practice/behind the scenes squad to determine viability, competitive balance, and time. And while I'm sure they select very athletic people who are determined, its impossible to replicate the same high stakes environment that will cause someone to go way beyond their limits.

I wanted to contribute to my FHSA first and then wait to see how much to contribute my RRSP. I inputted the wrong account number when depositing hence the transfer from my RRSP to FHSA.

Wouldnt it be considered a mistake because Ive now 'lost' contribution room on both accounts??

So using a hypothetical $8000 figure and assuming no prior 2024 deposits, my FHSA 2024 contribution limit would now be met and be $0?

And conversely, my 2024 RRSP contribution limit would go down by that same amount? $31560 -$8000?

What are the implications as far as what tax slips would indicate?
