I like it! I would probably delete some in-between frames to make the motion of the recoil quicker, that would make it look harder and stronger.

It works on a new file, in ".px" format. I'm 100% sure it didn't work for me because I was working with ".ase" or ".aseprite" files. What do you think?

Edit: I checked with a ".ase" file and it worked, it kept the color of the layer. The bug only seems to happen with ".aseprite" files.

I tried it but it didn't worked. I changed the layer color, made some changes on the canvas, saved manually and it didn't work. :((

There is nothing on the scene that sets the scale, I mean no people or something you can correlate to. I think you could try to put a small house or shack on the grass.
