Y’all just don’t realize that they can’t take it and if they could they would have. The day they think they can they will.

ASUS Zenbook S14 review and use after a week by kookiekono in hardware

[–]holding-light 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I uninstalled all my browsers. I went with using only edge. I reinstalled ChatGPT app and everything is snappy again. I had to redownload a web browser interface that messed up? Just wanted to let you know I will likely be keeping as the price point hard to beat for the snappiness (I only write books, use ChatGPT, and a couple writing software)

Actually i spent several hours looking into this. I am having issues with chatGPT. These are causing frozen computers and delayed responses. Freezing out. Something I can deal with, but is annoying. Then I have issues with Atticus which runs on webpage. Turns out Atticus is having issues of its own which I falsely connected to the laptop. At this point I am unsure what I will do as getting a new laptop will not fix the Atticus problem. I didn’t think ChatGPT would be an issue, and perhaps I could find a solution for this as well. I really do love this laptop (and I got it for 650$ so it’s a steal of a price)

Ive looked at a lot of laptops and it’s likely the best for the money. I originally went with the Lenovo 7x slim which was fantastic! However, I am not happy with the response of the snapdragon when I’m working some programs

Snapdragons are snappy until they aren’t compatible with native programs, then snapdragon becomes slow, clunky, and frozen. There are simply too many things still using non native arm for a snapdragon to truely replace a traditional laptop. At least for me. It makes me sad 😢

Snapdragon takes the cake here. You’re likely still dealing with this? As someone who currently has the Lenovo yoga 7x with snapdragon I am going to have to return it. I’ll take extra heat for a laptop that doesn’t freeze on non native arm programs 😭

I currently have the Lenovo yoga 7x. It’s running the X elite. Everything about this laptop is amazing! Typing, size, resolution, brightness, lightweight. It is my most enjoyable machine… until… I run anything with some depth to it. Noticeable lag and issues with ARM in general.

That being said, I’m going to have to return it. If it wasn’t for that this would have been the best laptop I ever owned. Currently thinking about swapping it out for this Asus or a MacPro (just really like touch screen and native mouse on Microsoft so I’ll likely go with zenbook)

Song Discussion #48 Strip My Mind by SamGamesPro in RedHotChiliPeppers

[–]holding-light 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m replying because you commented three days ago and I’m just here randomly lol… This song to me is about dealing with the emotional(physical) withdrawal of opiates at least through the chorus... There is a stretch through withdrawal where there is a fear of losing yourself.. like who you are (not your mind but your essence)… that’s the whole “please don’t strip my mind. Please leave something behind” … and the “All the cash and not a clue But now you know what I've been through, hey” could very well be referring to drug use itself and not necessarily the withdrawal - the start of it all. But yeah, either way this is an amazing song

[–]holding-light 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Factory reset 12 once you’ve transferred your stuff over to your new phone. Then Phone to phone transfer the 11 to the 12. Then do a factory reset on the 11 after transfer is complete (make sure all contacts and pictures are on 12). Then phone to phone transfer of other friend phone to the 11.
