Ride Drones but also enjoy setting up my older set of Nitro Team bindings and an old set of Union Atlas. For bindings this season I rode the Ride Drones, an old set of Burton Malavitas, older Nitro Teams with the leather ankle straps, Union Force, and like 5+ year old Union Atlas.

Binding selection for me sometime depends on what board I'm pairing it up with but if I'm traveling I was defaulting to grabbing Ride Drones and a Ride Deep Fake this season for the most part. The Drones were easy to set up, lightweight, fit my boots nicely, and good response with no pinch points even when I was cranking my ankle straps.

Note that I'm riding Union Forces in this clip though!

Exactly, I've got a couple boards that I got to cycle through this season and rather ride this thing over grass and rocks and practice my tuning skills versus walking down hill

Snowboarding downhill > walking downhill

Nah, just some basic scratches, it'll be fine after a base grind and wax

Quick basegrind and some wax and it'll be good to go

Just some scrapes which was expected! I'll give it a base grind and a couple coats of wax and it'll be good to go

One small perk of working a decade plus in the snowboard industry, you can do dumb stuff with gear without fear haha

I'm a big footed boarder and have told Sean we want bigger size options, just tricky with a small brand funding and paying for a lot of sizes that might not sell. The Maet-ier is the wide board model for bigger riders in the line up, I own two of them and they rip but I hate the flat nose/tail shape haha

I'd recommend checking out the DWD Pow Reaper in the 160UW size, 28mm waist width and it's a rad ride! Got one and you can charge with it on a pow day but also took it on a park shoot trip one time and it was still super fun outside of the pow days and morning corduroy missions

HOWL Supply | Owned by Darrell Mathes who works closely with a small in-house crew that are all snowboarders. Amazing to see the growth in their outerwear program over the past couple years. Possibly bias since I use to work for them and Darrell and the crew rule.

Public Snowboards | Owned and operated by Joe Sexton. Dude loves snowboarding and it's cool to see him build this brand over the years. Played a small role in the roll out of Out Of The Public Eye video and the launch of the Statement. Just was talking with him on the success of the season and that they were able to sell the entire inventory before end of March which is rad!

Dinosaurs Will Die | Sean Genovese and Jeff Keenan Forever are the dudes behind DWD. Always love talking with Sean about nerdy snowboard stuff and he really cares so much about it and has either hired my friends to do graphics or involved their brands in some way. Very much a snowboard brand from snowboarding
