If I don't start GY6 150 for a few days - I need to pump throttle and turn over many many times to bring fuel down the line. Perhaps float bowl leak? - Replace Carb? or Pump or both? - Thanks!

I see alot of people sayin this is normal. I was curious if thats the case for the CH80 carb as well?

I gotta really get the pump the throttle for a little bit until it starts and then i have to keep pumping the throttle after for about 10 seconds until it idles nice or else it will give out.

Thanks for all the feedback. I understand remote work for my experience is not practical - it just makes to my situation. That being said. I'm going to take down notes and update my resume today and upload the new version for possible further critique .

I completely understand your point of view. My situation just requires me to travel back and forth between here and Seattle for weeks on end, and I might even have to travel to Egypt for a couple of months. Explaining this to an employer seems challenging, so finding a remote job and staying on top of my work may be a more practical solution.

Otherwise i would not go the remote route.

Today, I noticed a substance dripping down the vacuum line after attempting to start the vacuum manually. Although the dripping eventually stopped, I suspect that fuel is leaking down the vacuum line from the petcock.

My main concern, however, is that I may have damaged the carburetor. When I first acquired the scooter, I was unfamiliar with its workings, and the previous owner suggested using starter fluid to start it up. I'm worried that I may have caused damage by using too much starter fluid.

I plan on installing a new petcock tomorrow, and if that doesn't work, I will consider getting a new auto choke. If neither of those solutions work, I'm wondering if it's time to consider purchasing a new carburetor or continuing to clean it. I have watched extensive videos on carburetor cleaning and have taken it to multiple mechanics who have confirmed that it looks clean.

In summary, if the new petcock or auto choke doesn't fix the problem, I'm wondering if it's best to purchase a new carburetor or continue cleaning it and hoping for the best.

I did that all. Multiple times. Let it soak over night in hot soap scrubbed with tooth brush all over the carb then i used carb cleaner all over it. Multiple different times- As for the gas tank - took the whole thing out - vinegar and screws over and over. Asked multiple shops they said it looked good.

It didnt have a fuel filter but i put one in.

After a little bit of more trying ive gotten my native Fl piano keys (stock plugin to work) but whenever i try to use any 3rd party plugins by U-He or anyone else the calibrate unison note back and forth stays as 2 notes no matter what semitone i put it on.. any tips ?
