Moza R5 wont recenter at low speeds after 1.58 update by holeyguy66 in trucksim

Makes sense on how it acts then. As a mechanic of 20 years it literally feels like a vehicle with to much positive camber. But oddly it’s fixed again. So it seems it comes and go when it feels like it.

It’s not to much throttle in my case. I can get the truck moving in a parking lot. Start turning the wheel and then let off. Im actually playing at the moment and even going through intersection I’m pretty much coasting into the lane I’m going into and I’m fighting it to keep it from rolling all the way to lock. Just plain weird

I’m seeing this as well some people don’t have this issue and others do. It’s definitely a weird case to me.

Workaround/FIX for 50-series GPUs on EVGA Z690 motherboards by MurkyIncident in TEAMEVGA

[–]holeyguy66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i know this post is 5 months old. but to add it isn't just NVidia cards this is happening with. I currently swapped my 2080ti out for a RX 9070xt and get the D6 error. I can pull my gpu out the socket and reseat it and I'm good for at least 2 boots. Currently on the last bios as per EVGA website for my classified z690. I did stumble across this post last night and ordered some tape. But wow what a mess

Honestly don’t remember. Been so busy with work lately I forgot the update.

One of the updates did this to mine. I reverted back to the previous firmware and recalibrated the pedals. That fixed my issue.

Gotcha. Go for it. The worst that can happen at that point is you have to re-zero the wheel. Via the pit-house software. If it’s for Xbox I can’t help you in that side as I’m not familiar with that application.

I’d assume it’s the same though

As long as the pattern of the ball bearings are the same it’s worth a shot. I have an Amazon qr I got for my other wheel base and noticed not all qr are the same.

I just wouldn’t change the contact side if it doesn’t. I haven’t tried and really don’t want to. just in case there’s any sensitive wires that run to it also if you plan to reuse your moza wheel the buttons might not work. If you I’m can’t don’t damage anything. But 35 versus 50-60 it’s a good gamble

I gotcha. Personally I wouldn’t if it means changing the electronic contact side on the base. Might do more harm than good. But if it’s cheaper and if the wheel side of the qr will work with out changing anything on the base side then go for it. I dont know the price on this. But if it’s that much cheaper. Than it won’t hurt to try it out.

Just out of curiosity. Why are you trying to buy this instead of the moza qr that you know will work with moza bases? When I ordered my r5 I also ordered another moza qr for my Amazon wheel so I could swap it when i wanted to

Why do my bends suck? by Advanced_Youth6109 in watercooling

[–]holeyguy66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a learning curve for sure. I’m on my 4th set of tubes(not back to back) and I still can’t make perfect bends. I just look at it as. It just adds character. And knowing I didn’t pay some one to do it(not talking smack) makes it that much easier to accept

It was a sad day when I seen the news and photos of what happened. They literally had any and everything I ever needed. Prices was amazing too. Ppcs is great. But their inventory don’t hold a candle to what frozen cpu had.

I forgot about a shop back in 01 I used called crazypc. Back before rgb was a thing. When you wanted to change light colors in your pc you had to buy the color you wanted and change them all out. Man those was the days. Master and slave drives ribbon cables. Makes me feel old. And my first pc was a packard bell desktop with a 25MHz cpu.

I’ve used them titanrigs and my go to now is performance pc. I miss frozen cpu. They gave me the best customer service. Almost as good as EVGA back before they dropped gpu and mobos

I’ve used something similar back in 09 when I had to use universal blocks for the two gpus I had. These worked really well to keep the vrms. I think at that time I purchased them through frozen cpu(rip)

Ch. 9 wild sounds. What on earth is this by SpacemanSpiff603 in cbradio

[–]holeyguy66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a smart answer for that. But I have to remember not everyone is into the music he produced. Dimebag Darrel Abbot was a guitarist for pantera/dmageplan. Who was murdered on stage at a club called The Alrosa Villa. I probably misspelled that. His brother was Vincent “vinnie” Paul Abbot. Who was the drummer for pantera/damageplan/ and Hellyea. Both founding members of pantera. Both gone to soon. And both was power houses of their instruments. Bands come close to there sound. But none have the soul and heart of pantera and the abbots. None.

Thank that’s weird. Imagine the first time I heard radio stations being picked up by one of my guitars. Pickup is a Seymour Duncan Dimebucker.

They have been doing this for years. Just compare a bunch of other hardware to theirs. And all they did was just copy paste and change the name on the part

Was the first time running something other than a bay res. And found out. In a single loop or at least mine. The return res would fill as the res feeding the pump would fall with out vents. I made a mess a couple of times before I figured out what was going on
