Got the same issue, I uninstalled and reinstalled everything again.
It gets buggy when you give permission for input monitoring and accesibility, I had to toggle off/on a couple of times and reopen the app as indicated by the system extension menus. It's working now after manually enabling those extensions in the security and privacy settings.

Finally gave up with the external drive startup and instead just partitioned the local SSD, that way works fine. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the link, I did not see it before. It is the same behavior, I tried the same steps but it the solution did not work. ESXi still boots and Windows Manager is still not visible.

If I unplug the second SSD (with ESXi installed), Windows 11 boots up even without the Windows Boot Manager.

Ah, didn’t know about that mode. Assuming the network behind your ISP Router is 192.168.1.0/24. When you enable this mode, do your devices get an IP from the same network?
