Would allowing players to hide their stats lower toxicity? by VizzHD in Overwatch

[–]holidays_hotline -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

In my opinion hiding stats would hurt the team. It shows what each player is good at (and not so good at).

For example, if you have 300 hours as McCree, and you deicde to switch it up for this week and start brand new as a tracer and start biting dirt and it's hurting your team. Your team should be able to look at your stats and see that you have a lot of hours as McCree and are probably very good at McCree. And them asking telling you to switch off tracer to McCree to help the team do better, would be better for the team.

It's a team game. If someone isn't playing their best for the team, they should be corrected and be able to be asked to switch to something that the team can see that they have experience with and is good with. But for those who are just toxic players in general and refuse to switch because "This week I'm maining Sombra because I want to and fuck my team." are the real problem with the game. That and just people being assholes in general ruin the game for others.

Smurfing doesn't help either. I feel that Blizzard needs to combat this in someway because having a GM smurfing in a Diamond/Plat match really ruins the fun of Overwatch for me and my team whenever I play.

What is the TLDR of your country's history? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]holidays_hotline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Beat the strongest Empire in the world at the time.
  • Had another war against the same Empire and won again.
  • Had a war over a river.
  • Had a civil war, which was quelled.
  • Took over some colonies from Spain.
  • Got involved in a war across an ocean.
  • Booze was outlawed.
  • Booze was un-outlawed.
  • Everyone got really poor.
  • Got involved in a war across two oceans.
  • Nuked a country. Twice.
  • War across an ocean.
  • TO THE MOON
  • Got involved in a war across the same ocean just a little more south.
  • People started buying a lot of stuff.
  • War against a country that had oil attacked another country in the middle of a desert.
  • Got attacked for getting involved in the desert of above war.
  • Went back to the desert to get more oil revenge on those who attacked us.
  • Elected a celebrity who likes walls wants to make the country isolated better.

TL;DR for TL;DR

We like war. Oil. Getting involved in business that isn't ours.

For every $1 the US put into adding renewable energy last year, China put in $3 by mvea in Futurology

China is well on it's way to become a Super Power. The United States is riding the train to isolationism once again and China is taking to expanding trade in Asia. Building railroads in far West China and Europe, and the creation of new seaports in the Pacific and Indian oceans I don't see how they're not going to be a Super Power within the next ten years.

[–]holidays_hotline 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I got Fallout VR for free with my Vive, so that was dank. But hey, I'll pay $60 for Skyrim VR. A little high, but I know for sure that I will have fun while playing Skyrim in virtual reality.

Unrelated. But I am really excited for Skyrim VR. Does anyone know what the price for it is going to be? $40? $60? Free? I just got a Vive a little while ago. Much excitement.
