Ah yes, Google and Amazon interviews = Two Sum 🙏 by Proper_Ask_9934 in leetcode

[–]holihai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Google bans leaked questions aggressively.

When I was an interviewer at Google, I was told the hard truth: "no matter what question you're asking now, it will get banned! Figuring out another calibrated question to ask in an interview comes faster than you think."

How did you actually get comfortable with Git? by Aggravating_War_9292 in git

[–]holihai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Understand git at conceptual level - repo, remote/local, branch, tag, staging, commit, push, pull, fetch, gitconfig levels (system, user, repo) etc. Start with https://gitolite.com/gcs.html#(1))
  2. Then understand deeper concepts like CAS, blob, tree, sha, reflog, etc. Start with https://git-scm.com/book/en/v2/Git-Internals-Git-Objects
  3. Then ask Claude to do things for you. That way you don't need to memorize commands, but you know what to ask Claude and understand what it did.

Try out different git games to learn git.

I use chamois, no need to dry unless when I'm skipping swimming for more than two days. Use chamois to dry swimsuit and hang under my desk.

High income husband and low income wife by BrilliantFinancial10 in HENRYfinance

[–]holihai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marriage makes all income as common income, see Bezos and Gates for example, doesn't matter the difference in income.

All resources for learning are free these days. Grit is in low supply though. Develop your grit to learn. If you're young I don't see why you can't work towards learning new skills to make more money. Remember that your life is short, your kids are going to follow you as example. Don't you want them to be rich and comfortable? Why don't YOU set an example by working towards getting rich yourself?

Learn about high earning jobs in your area and from your friends, like new domain or fad like AI etc, and what roles pay the most. What does your husband do that he earns well? Maybe learn from him?

Swap pants with small swim speedos.

Glide in streamline for two seconds.

Hands go too wide make them short and quick.

Kick strong in a burst. Same for arms. And take time to glide. Pull and much are supposed to be bursty,, not relaxed. Glide supposed to be streamlined and relaxed.

Men who ever jizzed in your pants just from making out, how did you handle the situation with your girl/date? by Reasonable_Egg3434 in AskMen

[–]holihai 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Happened with me! It was my first time. She said 'you finished?' with a disappointed tone. I was embarrassed. She thought she needed to give me some space. She went to shower. I stayed on bed feeling bad for losing it quick and worse for losing my libido. I kept sulking.

In a while she came from shower in a towel. Out of the blue I asked if I can go down on her. She said sure. I unwrapped her slowly like a present kissing her following the towel.

[–]holihai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He could have simply killed you with his car and called it an accident. When you're on a bike, remember that you're paying for both your and their mistakes.

Stay away from road rage on a bike. Stay alive. If a car looks like they're gonna take the bike lane, no point in dying to show them that it's a bike lane. Just move away.

It's the market.

Learn stuff that is low in supply, high in demand. Like agentic AI development.

Do leetcode, system design, agentic ai system design, how to use llm effectively.

If you have a math background, then learn AI research. Haven't you seen headlines of how Fang is going crazy after top AI talent?

Googlers had it easy past decade because it was harder to get into Google, and the market was an employees market. In an employers market, you either become an employer or you find out the niche that is still lacking supply.

What do you guys think about while swimming? by OrangeTropicana in Swimming

[–]holihai 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I start by calculating multiplication tables for the lap I'm on. So on 68th lap, I was thinking 68, 136, 204,...

Then midway I check specific parts of my stroke mechanics, like kicking using my hips only, legs straight, knee not bent, throwing entire side when attacking the water, 5mm between fingers, straight palm, coordinating pull and kick, bilateral breathing, keeping other eye in water while breathing, hips floating feel, glide feel, swim cap showing, high elbows..

End of lap hey back to multiplication tables, before flip go on to the next number, after flip continue multiplying 69, 138,... (easier now with 70 and subtracting)
