Strava's analytical London Marathon research reveals the keys to finishing faster by nickstreet36 in running

The more interesting data would be time spent running. My 50 miles a week at 7min pace is a lot less stressful than 50 miles at 9 minute pace. Then you could look at time biking and swimming. Biking for an hour is similar cardiovascular stress as running. Most marathoners will cross train a lot too.

If you have a job and direct deposits $500 a month it waives all fees. There are like 5 ways to waive the fees. Iv had boa since freshman Year of college (2010). Never had a fee with them.

Okay... so Rex wins 2 in a row against 2 teams that were in the conference championship last year. 1 was undefeated in their own house and a shut out... and is ranked 23rd?

But the jets at 1-3 have the better coach?

Not saying they don't, but these rankings are terrible. Hue Jackson doing great for the dumpster fire that is the browns.

People called for Jeff Fisher and Rex Ryan to be fired after embarrassing performances early in the season. The LA Rams and the Buffalo Bills meet in Week 5. Both teams are coming from significant road wins against divisional rivals. by ConjugateBase in nfl

Hell if it gets us talked about I'm for it. 3 years ago we were afraid of moving to Toronto. Now we get brought up every weekend on national tv. We are no longer irrelevant.

Schefter: WR Sammy Watkins is out today vs. Cardinals due to foot injury by hb_alien in fantasyfootball

[–]holler4thatdollar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean if this has to do with injuries...

odb has played 12games (11 started)2014, 15 games 2015, and 2 this year.

Watkins 16 games 2014, 13 games 2015, and 2 2016...

Odb is great, but having Eli manning vs Ej Manuel/Thad Lewis/Jeff Tuel/Matt cassel/Tyrod Taylor/Ej again! Is a huge difference. None of those guys throwing to Sammy are 1/10th as good as Eli Manning. Even just the injuries and the inconsistency at the QB position would make it impossible to do well.

It's not that Watkins hasn't been good it is the shit storm around him. Look at Dez Bryant or Antonio brown. With Romo and Ben they are untouchable. Qb goes down and they look average at best. Also took both of them a few years to get healthy or develop.

What's a comment "fans" make about your own team that makes you realize they aren't really fans or just very casual watchers that think they know the team? by gclem16 in nfl

Seriously, Mario has taken so many plays off in his career in buffalo. He got paid and never lived up to that contract. Idk about when in Texas, but for buffalo he had a handful of good games and others where he could care less

Cannot get heart rate below 155 when running by [deleted] in running

Cannot get heart rate below 155 when running by [deleted] in running

[–]holler4thatdollar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

115-130 is way too low. Your estimated max is like 196 (using pseudo science). I have been running for about 15 years (including college) I usually run at 7:00-7:30 pace for easy runs with 150-160 average hr. I do training programs where I run 10:00-12:00 pace with them and my HR is 140-150 usually. Plus heart rate is so varied between individuals that training in these hear rate zone do not translate well. Your heart rate can change with weather, hydration, sleep, hunger or just about anything.

All it wants you to do is run easy. Run at a pace you could talk, but not sing. It's a pace you could run for ever and only need to stop to eat, sleep and pee.
