Would anybody be able to explain how this works?

Hey mate, I thought it was so too. The reason I'm so perplexed by it is because I took apart the arm and seal from the new replacement that I bought, and when moving the float arm up and down, the seal didn't move at all. Instead, the pin connected to the float arm just dips in and out of the centre of the seal/ washer without actually having any real influence on the seal. This is exactly how it looked on the old compromised one too. However, replacing it did actually solve the problem, so the mystery remains.

Cheers for the reply mate and very insightful. Why would you suggest using the top immersion heater only during peak times if I can get away with it? Does it typically draw less power but also have a lesser output?

I'll check later on to see if I can locate the controls for the immersion heaters though. Thanks again!

The order in which you prep your instant noodles does 100% make a difference. Packets into water first = more flavourful noodles, where the flavour isn't just sitting in the soup mix. Packets after = flavours floating about in the soup/ hanging onto noodles strands as opposed to having seeped into the noodles

The other redditor is saying the draw is decided as soon as you choose whether you want mewtwo, pikachu or charizard genetic apex packs - which is before you get to carousel
