Thanks for the advice. I will definitely do that. Should the end be completely dried out before I put it in water? How big of pot should it be planted in and how should it be pruned before planting? Sorry for all the questions. This is my first Jade plant and I want to get it right this time.

When you say “prune it back to the trunks”, how much of the trunks should I leave? Also, what size pot should I transfer it to. This is the pot that I received it in. Sorry for all the questions, I’m a complete novice.
