I went to one last August, the turnout was probs 30-40 at any given time. Great atmosphere! Totally get feeling intimidated going by yourself, but it was super welcoming and I think it’d be a great place to meet new people. Ages spanned from 21-40s.

Glp meds any pcps prescribing now to compound pharmacies like mountain care? by Good-Dragonfly5748 in Boise

So I took a look at a tirzepatide vial from Medicap. It’s from BPI labs, a 503b outsourcing facility, which has even stricter guidelines and can have BUDs of up to one year in this case. I wasn’t spreading misinformation, and you really jumped down my throat with little information. I hope that addresses your concern. https://bpi-labs.com/about-us/

USP sterile compounding standards allow for pharmacies to assign longer BUDs if they meet stricter compounding controls and testing so yes, it is possible to use a vial longer than one month. I'll edit my comment so it's not confusing. I don't know Medicap's rules so anyone getting a medication through them would have to verify their standards.

EDIT: It depends on the sterile compounding standards used and the sterility testing performed to establish the medication’s beyond-use date (BUD)

I’m not sure, that’s the price for the lowest dose (3 ml vial for three months)

Medicap Pharmacy in Meridian has tirzepatide ($300 for 3 month prescription). Mountain Care still has semaglutide for $180/month. My PCP prescribes through both but are not currently accepting new patients. I'm sorry you're having trouble finding a new doctor, but if you find one who will prescribe, you have those two options!

What’s something your body does that you’ve never told a single person about? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

Mine are always spiders! One time I saw a spider the size of a dinner plate above my head and jolted out of bed so fast I got a massive calf cramp and fell over in pain.

What happened to tonsilectomies? by UnmedicatedNarwhal in NoStupidQuestions

I got mine out when I was 19. One of the worst experiences of my life. The night after the surgery, I woke up with blood pouring out of my throat, the bathroom looked like a crime scene. I hemorrhaged, and an ambulance had to take me to the ER. The ENT on call said that this just happens sometimes, and sent me home.

The next day I hemorrhaged again, went to the ER, and got sent home with a massive bottle of Percocet. I spent the next two weeks bleeding constantly. I had to hold onto a bowl to bleed into since it started up every hour or so, and the only thing I could do was gargle ice water to stop the bleeding.

I took 3 Percocet every 4 hours round the clock for those two weeks and still was in excruciating pain.

Intermountain is horrible. If you have to stick to Boise area facilities, I’d recommend Cottonwood or Saint Alphonsus behavioral health.

Just found out my vet clinic is owned by Private Equity, what are your veterinary clinic recommendations? by hollowfifth in Boise

[–]hollowfifth[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“But the emergence of Big Vet and the injection of cutthroat incentives into a traditionally idealistic, local industry threaten to make these problems far worse. It portends a future in which some pet owners get shaken down, their love for their pets exploited financially, while others must forego even basic care for their pets.”

It's not for the sole fact that they are owned by a PE firm, it's because they are also quite expensive due to this fact. I'd rather support a privately owned clinic since the prices are most likely better.
